SpO2 Safety Information
1. The USER/OPERATOR is responsible for checking compatibility
prior to use. Redy-med Adult Soft Tip SpO2 sensor and Adult
Finger Clip SpO2 sensor are use with EDAN IM50 series patient monitors.
2. Pulse oximetry measurements are statistically distributed.
Two-thirds of all pulse oximetry measurements can be expected to
fall within the stated accuracy (refer to Specifications later in
this IFU for stated sensor accuracy).
3. Connect the sensor only to the SpO2 connection or the SpO2 adapter cable of the oximeter.
4. Do not reuse the sensor on a different patient until it has been
disinfected. The sensor can be reused on the same patient for
the patient’s entire stay
